Just in time for the holidays, it’s official~ no Goofy Challenge for me. More drinking, less running. I suppose I should celebrate. My first injury, Yay? After all, it means I am an athlete and I must be because Wow! it took a lot of adjustment. Regular exercise was the first order of business in an effort to navigate the immediate imbalance of a life without running as my central heartbeat (who knew?). Once the new exercise routine was in place, (row, swim, row, swim…) it was time to dream again: find new races, read running magazines and start shopping for running paraphernalia. Just in time for the holidays!
